I'm going to seize the day or something like...
Since I forgot my copy of Player One on the plane I am going to go hang out at Chapters and read the rest of it cause it’s absolutely killing me that I can’t finish it and I refuse to buy another copy of it until I have a more steady cash flow. I am TAing again next semester but I’m not sure if my contract was signed on time to be paid..

I'm so mad at myself.
I left my copy of Player One on the plane yesterday. FUCK. I’m so mad at myself. I hate losing stuff. It makes me feel like shit. It was a Christmas present from my father… I’d feel bad if he found out :(

I am at home in Vancouver! I slept for most of the plane ride(s). My sinuses did cause me some trouble though. My second landing into Vancouver was so painful. I had to ask the flight attendant for some damp cloths to help with the pain from the pressure changes. My left ear still feels clogged. :(

Waiting in Airports
I’m in the Halifax Airport waiting for my flight which is scheduled to leave in 2 and a half hours. Why am I here so fucking early? Well, my sister decided to change her flight from January 3rd to today at 9am so I had to get out of bed about 2 hours earlier (at 5:30am) to leave my house to be at the airport on time. UGHHH.

Since I’ve been staying at my parents place [in Nova Scotia] for Christmas my allergies have been absolutely crazy. They have a dog and two cats which do bother me for the first few days of entering their home. I usually end up getting used to them and my allergies don’t bother me for the rest of my visit.

Terrible.
I have been terrible at keeping this up to date. I have a few papers due before I officially finish my first semester of grad school and of course I am submitting them from my home (in Nova Scotia) on the other side of the country. They will be done tomorrow and I will no longer have to think about them. Hopefully after that I will have more interesting things to say ;)

More Love for Vancouver
I went to the Dandy Warhols at the Commodre Ball Room in Vancouver on Thursday. I was really impressed with the warhols and the venue. The ball room is so beautiful. Vancouverites are so lucky that they have access to all these beautiful places. I feel so lucky to be living here and I’m so excited that I get to come back here after Christmas at home with my family in Nova Scotia.
